The BDS4Kashmir movement has chosen economically target all those Indian companies that engage in supporting violence – whether structural, cultural or direct, in Kashmir. It will do so by calling for a  boycott of Indian-made products and companies, until India complies with the following points:

  1. Respect international law, and end the military occupation of the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir. At present, nearly 1 million Indian soldiers are in the disputed territory, making it the most militarized zone on earth.
  2. Initiate criminal proceedings against all those responsible for over 95,000 civilian deaths, and 10,000+ cases of rape and sexual molestation.
  3. Support Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and the United Nations Human Rights Commission, to access the gruesomely unearthed unmarked graves thus far that contain, at least, 6700 bodies.
  4. Lift the siege on the people of Kashmir and allow freedom of assembly, freedom of expression and freedom of movement.
  5. Agree with the inherent right of Kashmiri right of self-determination, and permit a United Nations sponsored plebiscite in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
